Thanks To Everyone Who Help At
The MOTOR JAMBOREE 2006

 The Freewheelers Car Club
appreciates all the efforts of its members,
Blue Knights Chapter 9, Colonial Antique Motorcycle Club,
Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Jersey,
the entertainers, and all those who donated
their time and talents to make
The Motor Jamboree 2006

a fantastic event and a superb fundraiser.

The MOTOR JAMBOREE 2006 was held on Sunday, July 9.
As with previous Motor Jamborees, it was a huge success
and raised thousands of dollars for Make-A-Wish.
This year The Motor Jamboree was held inside Waterloo Village.
In prior years, it took place at the Waterloo concert field.
Everyone loved the new venue!

There were hundreds of beautiful cars!

 They came in all sizes!

From the Pedal Cars of yesteryear….

.... to the Monster Trucks of today! (Even a baby monster truck!)

Plenty of motorcycles were on display!

Trophies were awarded to top cars and motorcycles!

Everyone waited to hear the 50–50 winner!
In 2006, the 50-50 took in over $12,000.00!
(Click here to see what the total is for The Motor Jamboree 2007)

Michael Oaks from Make-A-Wish thanked everyone.
Rich Mushenski, President of the Freewheelers Car Club, watched as the 50-50 winners were chosen.
Ronnie I, MC for the oldies concert, announced the winners.

The Oldies Concert Was A Big Hit!
This was the first year an oldies concert was the featured entertainment.
From the crowd’s reaction, it will be back next year!

Jim Yester, Original Member & Lead Singer of The Association, opened the concert.

1910 Fruit Gum Company performed their hits.

Kid Kyle & His Kool Kats did some great doo-wop!

Kyle chose a young girl from the audience and sang, “I Wished That We Were Married” to her.

Kyle is only 11 years old and is considered a doo-wop singing sensation.
He is also a big supporter of Make-A-Wish and is always willing to perform at a Make-A-Wish event.
The first paycheck Kyle received for his singing he donated to Make-A-Wish.
Kyle stopped by the Make-A-Wish booth after his concert and donated his fee.

Meg, who’s wish was one of those funded by the money raised at last year’s Motor Jamboree,
came on stage with her family to thank the Freewheelers Car Club
and all those who helped make wishes come true!

The Demensions sang “Over The Rainbow.”

Lenny Cocco & The Chimes ended the concert singing their big hit Once In A While.

Make-A-Wish Volunteers were there to show their support
and conduct children's activities.

The kids designed their own visors and got tattoos.

Face and arm painting are always a big hit with the children.
